Noida Police Investigate Fatal Fall at Supernova
A man identified by police as Sambhav Jain died after falling from the 43rd floor of a building in the Supernova complex in Noida on October 3. Police are investigating how the fall occurred and have not established its cause or the circumstances leading up to it. Police identified Jain as a resident of Manesar, Haryana, and said he had come alone to the complex for a one-day stay. Reports said he was staying in a room booked online in the Spyra building, part of Supernova, in Sector 94. Police received information about the incident on Saturday and sent the body for a postmortem examination after notifying his family. Police said officers and a forensic team inspected the scene and collected evidence. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from the building and nearby areas and questioning people who were near the scene to establish the sequence of events. The investigation remained underway as of October 4, and no findings about the cause of the fall had been reported. People questioned near the scene reportedly told police that Jain had been under mental stress. That account has not established why he fell.
