Nissan unveils electric Pixo for Europe, deliveries planned in 2027

Nissan has unveiled the all-electric Pixo, a small car designed for European cities that shares its platform and much of its hardware with the Renault Twingo and Dacia Spring. The company says deliveries are planned to begin in Europe in early 2027. Pricing has not been announced, with a market-specific update expected in December 2026. The Pixo revives a Nissan nameplate as an electric vehicle. It is 3,796 millimeters long and has a 2,492-millimeter wheelbase, dimensions close to those of the Twingo. The cars share key structural elements, including their platform and substantial hardware, while Nissan has given the Pixo its own front-end styling and rear lights. The Dacia Spring uses the same basic architecture but has more distinct bodywork. Nissan says the Pixo uses a 27.5-kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery and has a maximum WLTP range of 259 kilometers, or 161 miles. Its front-mounted motor produces 80 horsepower. Standard charging equipment includes 50-kilowatt DC charging and an 11-kilowatt AC charger; Nissan says DC charging from 15% to 80% takes about 28 minutes.
