Nicole Linton Found Guilty in Windsor Hills Crash
A jury found Nicole Linton guilty of murder charges Friday in the August 2022 crash at a Windsor Hills intersection that killed six people, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child. The verdict followed about three hours of deliberations after a three-week trial, resolving the central question of Linton’s criminal responsibility while leaving sentencing ahead. The collision occurred on August 4, 2022, at La Brea and Slauson avenues. Prosecutors said Linton drove a Mercedes-Benz through a red light at about 130 mph, striking other vehicles and triggering a fire and multicar crash. Six people died; nine others, including Linton, were reported injured. The victims included Asherey Ryan, 23, who was eight months pregnant, her 11-month-old son, Alonzo Quintero, her boyfriend, Reynold Lester, and her unborn child, whom the couple planned to name Armani. Nathesia Lewis, 43, and Lynette Noble, 38, who were in another vehicle, also died. At trial, prosecutors argued Linton was conscious and knowingly drove dangerously.
