Nashville Predators prospect Austin Roest has publicly shared the news of his longtime girlfriend Milly Okabe's stage 4 cancer diagnosis, expressing his unwavering support as she begins treatment. Roest, a 22-year-old forward, posted an emotional message on social media detailing the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 adenocarcinoma, a cancer that originates in glandular cells. He vowed to stand by Okabe's side throughout her challenging journey. In an Instagram post, Roest addressed Okabe directly, conveying his sorrow over her diagnosis while emphasizing his belief in her strength. "Milly, I don't even know what to say. I am so sorry this is happening to you. No one deserves to go through this," Roest wrote. He added, "That being said, I have no doubt in my mind you will beat cancer. You are the strongest person I know and I know you will overcome everything that comes your way over the next year. I love you so much and I will be right there with you through all of this."
