New York Fashion Week Spring 2027 Kicks Off
New York Fashion Week is set to commence its Spring 2027 season, running officially from Thursday, September 10, through Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The event will feature approximately 70 designer shows and presentations, marking a significant return of established names alongside a strong showing of emerging talent. A notable milestone for this season is the Council of Fashion Designers of America's (CFDA) implementation of a no-fur rule, prohibiting all official participants from using animal fur in their collections. Several brands are celebrating significant anniversaries. Coach will mark its 85th year in business with a show on Wednesday, September 9, the day before the official calendar begins. Rachel Comey is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a presentation on the same day, drawing inspiration from artist Rosalyn Drexler. Carolina Herrera will mark 45 years, and Khaite will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a show on Saturday, September 12. The week's official schedule opens on Thursday morning with Henry Zankov's debut as artistic director for Diane von Furstenberg. Zankov will also present his eponymous label's collection later in the week.
