New Trailer for Animated Cat in the Hat Film

Warner Bros. Animation has released a new trailer for its upcoming animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss's classic children's book The Cat in the Hat, ahead of the film's scheduled theatrical release on November 6, 2026. The trailer, unveiled on September 10, offers the fullest look yet at the studio's reimagining of the 1957 story, with Bill Hader voicing the titular cat. According to the studio's synopsis, the film marks the character's animated theatrical feature debut and follows the Cat as he takes on his toughest assignment yet. He is dispatched by the I.I.I.I. Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC to cheer up Gabby and Sebastian, a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town. Known for taking things too far, the Cat risks losing his magical hat in what could be his last chance to prove himself. America Ferrera voices the children's single mother, while Xochitl Gomez voices Gabby and Tiago Martinez voices Sebastian. The voice cast also includes Matt Berry as the Fish, Quinta Brunson, Bowen Yang, Paula Pell, Giancarlo Esposito, Tituss Burgess and America Ferrera.
