The first trailer for a new film adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Sense and Sensibility” has been released, with the movie scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on October 16, 2026. The Focus Features production stars Daisy Edgar-Jones as the sensible Elinor Dashwood and Esmé Creed-Miles as her passionate sister Marianne.
