NEET PG 2026 Retest Ordered for 2,445 Candidates After Jaipur Technical Failures
Technical failures disrupted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 at two examination centres in Jaipur on Sunday, August 30, preventing 2,445 candidates from completing the high-stakes medical entrance exam and sparking protests over fairness. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a reexamination for all affected candidates on September 5. The disruption occurred at the iON Digital Zone centres in Sitapura, identified as test centre numbers 41682 and 41683. According to officials, an internal power supply failure at these venues, attributed to the technological partner and examination-conducting agency TCS Ltd.
