The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has postponed the release of admit cards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate 2026 to August 25, a day later than initially scheduled. The decision, announced on August 24, was made in response to requests from candidates in flood-affected regions of Assam and Meghalaya. In an official notice, the NBEMS stated the admit card release date was revised due to "certain unavoidable circumstances." This marks the third time the board has adjusted the admit card schedule. According to the notice, the date had previously been advanced from August 27 to August 24 to better accommodate candidates.
