NBEMS Announces NEET PG 2026 Results and Cutoffs

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the NEET PG 2026 results on September 24, publishing candidates’ scores and ranks online and setting category-specific qualifying cutoffs for the postgraduate medical entrance exam. Candidates can access their results and scorecards through the NEET PG section of the NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in, using their login credentials. The qualifying threshold is 262 out of 720, at the 50th percentile, for General and EWS candidates. For General candidates in the PwBD category, it is 244 at the 45th percentile. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, including PwBD candidates in those categories, it is 226 at the 40th percentile. NBEMS reported that 263,544 candidates appeared for the examination on August 30. A further 2,416 candidates took a re-examination on September 5 after technical disruptions at a Jaipur exam centre. The published results include candidates from both sessions. Reports gave differing totals for candidates affected by the disruption, so no broader figure is included here. The board said the 2026 answer key and candidate response information would be published on or after October 1.
