A murder investigation has been launched after a 56-year-old man died following violent disorder in a Welsh village. Anthony Jones, known as Tony, of Brecon, was fatally injured during an incident involving a group of men in Mill Street, Pontnewynydd, near Pontypool, on the evening of Thursday, August 6, 2026.
