MTV's Davis Mallory introduces new girlfriend after leaving gay identity
Reality television personality Davis Mallory has publicly introduced his new girlfriend, Rachel Vaughan, marking a new chapter in his personal life nearly one year after he announced he no longer identifies as gay. Mallory, known for his appearances on MTV's "The Real World" and "The Challenge," shared the relationship on his Instagram account on August 30, posting photos from a vacation in Portugal. In the post, Mallory and Vaughan are seen together in various locations, holding hands and kissing. Mallory captioned the images, "Its crazy what love can do. I love you," tagging Vaughan. She responded in the comments with "love you." Fellow "Challenge" cast member Derrick Kosinski also showed support with a comment of three raised-hand emojis, and numerous fans expressed their approval online. The announcement follows Mallory's September 2025 statement that he no longer identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA community. Speaking at the Arise House of Prayer and Worship in Hawaii at that time, Mallory said, "I lived a gay lifestyle for about 20 years, I was on a television show The Real World and I came out as a gay Christian. God really pulled me out of that lifestyle a year ago.
