Moyes has not spoken to Everton owner Friedkin

Everton manager David Moyes has revealed he has never spoken to club owner Dan Friedkin since returning to the helm in January 2025, a revelation that comes amid a turbulent summer transfer window and questions surrounding the club's ownership. Moyes, who is approaching the final year of his contract, insists he will not resign despite a depleted squad and a chaotic end to the transfer period. Moyes stated that his primary point of contact at the club is Chief Executive Angus Kinnear, with Friedkin's son-in-law, Rishi Majithia, serving as the next link in communication. Friedkin, who heads The Friedkin Group that acquired Everton in December 2024, has yet to attend an Everton match, contrasting with his reported engagement with the group's other club, AS Roma. Moyes confirmed he has had no direct conversations with Friedkin in the 20 months since his reappointment.
