MotoGP announces 22-round 2027 calendar

MotoGP has announced a 22-round calendar for the 2027 season, adding Buenos Aires and Adelaide while moving the Australian Grand Prix from Phillip Island and returning Argentina to the schedule. The campaign is set to begin in Thailand in March and conclude in Valencia in November, with the published schedule still conditional for several rounds. The Argentine Grand Prix is listed for April 9-11 at Buenos Aires’ Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez, replacing Termas de Río Hondo as the country’s host venue. Argentina’s return also takes the place of Hungary’s Balaton Park on the calendar. Buenos Aires last hosted a motorcycle Grand Prix in 1999, according to the schedule reports. Adelaide is due to host the Australian Grand Prix on November 12-14, the penultimate round, replacing Phillip Island. The provisional calendar lists both Buenos Aires and Adelaide as subject to homologation, the process for confirming a circuit meets the required standards. The Austin round, scheduled for April 23-25, is listed as subject to contract. The 22-round schedule opens at Buriram, Thailand, on March 5-7, followed by Qatar and Brazil.
