Paramount has officially renewed its crime thriller series MobLand for a third season, confirming that stars Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren will all return. The announcement, made on September 3, 2026, comes more than two weeks before the show's second season is set to premiere on September 18, 2026, and resolves months of speculation regarding the future of the series and its lead actor. The renewal puts to rest reports from May 2026 that suggested Hardy might not return for a third season due to alleged creative differences with producers. Those reports indicated Hardy was frustrated with the series becoming an ensemble piece, pushing his character into the background. However, Paramount's official statement, "THE HARRIGANS ARENT GOING ANYWHERE," confirms the core cast will be back. The network did not comment on the earlier reports of behind-the-scenes tensions. MobLand, created by Ronan Bennett and co-created by Guy Ritchie, debuted in March 2025 and quickly became a major hit for Paramount+.
