A Nepali climbing guide missing on Mount Everest for six days has been found alive after crawling down the mountain alone, officials said Thursday. Dawa Sherpa, an experienced guide in his 50s also known as "Hillary," was discovered near Base Camp by a team from the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC).
