Academy Award-winning actor Michelle Yeoh has been named Asian Filmmaker of the Year by the Busan International Film Festival. The festival announced the honor on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Yeoh will accept the award at the festival's opening ceremony on October 6 at the Busan Cinema Center.
