Metaplanet, a Japan-listed company with one of Asia's largest corporate Bitcoin treasuries, transferred 1,000 Bitcoin worth approximately $79.77 million to Coinbase Prime on August 25, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain. The transaction has sparked speculation about a potential sale, but neither Metaplanet nor Coinbase has confirmed that the transfer involved a liquidation of the assets. Lookonchain classified the movement as a deposit to Coinbase Prime, a platform that provides institutional-grade trading, financing, and custody services.
