Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has notified approximately 350 of its 1,800 employees in Ireland that their roles are being eliminated. The cuts are part of a previously announced global restructuring plan to reduce the company's workforce by about 10%, or 8,000 positions.
