The post arrived less than a week after a letter authorized by the King and sent by the Lord Chamberlain on September 7 stated that Harry and Meghan's position is akin to private citizens and that their HRH styles are not to be used. The letter was sent to government officials, military leaders, and the King's lord lieutenants for clarification.
