MediaTek Unveils Dimensity CX C10 Max Chip For Googlebooks

MediaTek on September 21, 2026 introduced the Dimensity CX C10 Max, the first system-on-chip in its new Dimensity Compute Experiences (CX) family, designed for an upcoming premium, ultraportable Googlebook laptop. The chip is built on TSMC's 3nm process and uses what MediaTek calls an All Big Core CPU design, with an octa-core configuration consisting of one Cortex-X925 core, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. It pairs an 11-core Immortalis-G925 GPU with MediaTek's eighth-generation NPU 890, rated at up to 55 TOPS of AI performance. The company said the neural processor is designed to handle Gemini Intelligence features on-device, which it said can improve response times and provide added privacy benefits. MediaTek said the chip's power-efficient architecture can enable thinner, lighter, fanless devices with all-day battery life. The company also claimed up to 19 hours of battery life based on testing with a reference board equipped with a 60Whr battery. Actual runtime will depend on the specific device built around the processor.
