Mass Effect-like RPG Exodus gets April 2027 release date

The science fiction role-playing game Exodus, developed by studio Archetype Entertainment, has received a firm release date of April 7, 2027. The announcement was made during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event, where a new cinematic gameplay trailer showcased key characters and mechanics. The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam. The latest trailer focused on introducing Salt, an "Awakened" octopus who serves as a companion to the player character, Jun. As a mercenary and bounty hunter, Salt pilots a specialized combat mech that enables long-range sniping, evasive maneuvers, and the use of ink-like smokescreens.
