Masked Israeli settlers attack Palestinian woman, NBC crew in West Bank

Masked Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian woman and a team of American journalists in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, injuring five people in what marked the latest in a surge of violence targeting both Palestinians and media workers in the region. The assault occurred in the town of Jalud as an NBC News crew was interviewing Aida Ahmed Abdullah, who had described being forced from her home by settlers. According to accounts from the crew and video footage, a car with Israeli license plates drove toward the group as they walked down a hill. At least four men with their faces covered leapt out, striking Abdullah and the journalists with sticks and throwing rocks.
