Manu Bhaker finishes fifth in 10m air pistol final

Manu Bhaker finished fifth in the women's 10m air pistol final at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on Wednesday, September 23, ending her medal bid in the event with a score of 181.1. The double Olympic medallist had qualified third for the eight-shooter final with a total of 579, but could not convert that performance into a podium finish. Her final began with 50.8 in Stage 1, followed by 49.5 to reach 100.3, before she recorded 20.1, 20.0, 20.3 and 20.4 across the four series of Stage 2. Among the other Indians, Esha Singh ended 15th in qualification with 572 and Suruchi Singh scored 568, with reports differing on whether Suruchi finished 26th or 30th.
