Manhunt after three men stabbed outside Liverpool LGBTQ+ venue

Merseyside Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect after three men were stabbed outside the GBar LGBTQ+ venue in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Sunday, September 20. The victims were taken to hospital, with two reported to be in stable condition and the third sustaining minor injuries. Officers were called to Tithebarn Street at approximately 6:35 a.m. following reports of the incident. The stabbing is believed to have occurred outside the GBar on Eberle Street after an altercation. A cordon was established on Tithebarn Street, Eberle Street, and Temple Lane as detectives began their investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Lisa McNaughton stated that police understand the concern such an incident causes in the community and urged anyone with information to come forward. "It appears that some form of altercation broke out near to GBar, resulting in the three victims sustaining injuries," she said. "The consequences of this incident could have been even worse, so be assured that we will relentlessly pursue the offender." Police confirmed a suspected weapon has been recovered and will be forensically examined.
