Man City agree £65m deal for Everton winger Ndiaye

Manchester City have agreed to sign Senegal winger Iliman Ndiaye from Everton in a deal worth up to 65 million pounds, according to reports on Monday, August 31, 2026. The agreement comes as the Premier League transfer window nears its deadline on Tuesday at 22:00 GMT. City will pay an initial 60 million pounds, with a potential further 5 million pounds in add-on clauses. Ndiaye, 26, is expected to undergo a medical with a view to completing his move before the deadline. The deal represents a significant shift in the transfer saga. Tottenham had been in advanced talks to sign Ndiaye, with a separate agreement reportedly in place for Richarlison to move from Spurs to Everton. However, those negotiations collapsed after Richarlison failed to agree personal terms with Everton. This allowed Manchester City to step in and secure the winger's signature. City's interest in Ndiaye grew after their pursuit of Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo was unsuccessful, as Liverpool refused to sanction a sale without first securing a replacement. Ndiaye joined Everton from Marseille for 15 million pounds two years ago. He scored six goals for David Moyes's side last season.
