Manchester City has agreed to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez for a fee that could reach 145 million, making it one of the most expensive transfers in football history. The agreement ends a period of intense negotiation between the two Premier League clubs. This would match the joint-British record set when Liverpool signed Alexander Isak for 125 million last summer. If the final amount reaches 145 million, it would make Fernandez the most expensive central midfielder ever and the most expensive Argentine player in history.
