A 17-year-old girl was stabbed in the neck on a public street in Brierfield, Lancashire, on Friday afternoon, June 12. A 30-year-old man from the town was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody. Lancashire Police were called to Wood Street at 3:06 p.m.
