Veteran Malayalam actor Mammootty was formally conferred the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award, by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony in New Delhi on Tuesday, June 23. The award recognizes his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema over a career spanning more than five decades.
