MAFS UK star's premature twins die
Holly Ditchfield, a star of the reality television show Married At First Sight UK, has announced the death of her newborn twin sons, Georgie and Marley, nine days after their premature birth. The infants passed away within hours of each other earlier this week, according to a statement shared by Ditchfield and her partner, Aaron Summers. The twins were born on August 26, 2026, at 23 weeks and five days of pregnancy. They were immediately admitted to a neonatal intensive care unit. In a statement posted to Instagram on September 5, Ditchfield confirmed that Georgie died at 1 p.m. on September 3, 2026, and Marley died at 5 a.m. on September 4, 2026. "It has been the hardest, most heartbreaking, yet most magical 9 days of our lives," Ditchfield wrote. She described holding her sons as they died, stating, "There is no greater privilege, and no greater pain, than holding your children as they leave this world." Ditchfield and Summers had shared updates following the twins' birth, describing the experience as "some of the scariest, most surreal and emotional moments of our lives." In her final post, Ditchfield reflected on the brief time she had with her children.
