King Kenny joins The Celebrity Traitors to avenge Niko

Published 1 October 2026

King Kenny is joining the second series of The Celebrity Traitors, saying he wants to avenge his friend Niko Omilana, who was banished early in the previous celebrity series. The reality show is scheduled to premiere on October 1, 2026, at 8 p.m. on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie, known publicly as King Kenny, has said he stopped watching the first celebrity series after Omilana was eliminated. He told interviewers that learning he would compete himself prompted him to return to the programme and watch every series as preparation. His stated motivation, he said, was to compete for Omilana, a fellow member of the YouTube collective Beta Squad. Omilana was the first celebrity banished in the previous series after fellow contestants suspected he was a Traitor. That suspicion was incorrect, according to the accounts provided. The sole Traitor in that series, television presenter Alan Carr, went on to win. Kenny’s comments refer to his personal reason for taking part; they do not establish how he will play or perform in the new series. Kenny has not said whether he would prefer to be assigned as a Faithful or a Traitor.
