King Charles and Queen Camilla to tour Caribbean this autumn

Published 27 August 2026

King Charles III and Queen Camilla will undertake an official tour of three Caribbean nations this autumn, with their visit to Antigua and Barbuda coinciding with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. Buckingham Palace announced the itinerary on Wednesday, confirming the royal couple will travel from October 27 to November 4, 2026. The tour will begin with a solo trip for the King to the Bahamas, where he is head of state. He will then proceed to Guyana for a state visit at the invitation of the country's president. This visit will mark 60 years of bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and Guyana, which gained independence from Britain in 1966.
