Khan and Bushra Bibi Meet Lawyer at Adiala Jail

Barrister Salman Safdar met Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi at Adiala Jail on November 2, after months without access to the incarcerated couple. Safdar said the meeting lasted about 40 minutes and was his first with Khan in seven months and with Bushra in 11 months. Safdar, who represents the couple, said the time was insufficient to discuss all their pending cases and legal matters. He said both prisoners briefed him on their health and living conditions and gave him instructions on some cases. He did not disclose specific medical findings or the substance of those instructions.
