Published 4 November 2026

Kelly Stafford criticized the NFL’s 2026 schedule, saying the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 11 bye does not provide the extended recovery break she associates with a conventional bye. The Rams are scheduled to play the Arizona Cardinals on November 15 and host the Green Bay Packers on November 25, leaving 10 days between games. That means Stafford’s assertion that the Rams alone lack a true bye does not account for Green Bay’s matching schedule. The game is set for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. A bye week does not necessarily mean a full two weeks between games. The Rams’ next game after Arizona is scheduled for November 25, rather than the following Sunday, creating a shorter interval than teams typically get when a bye falls between Sunday...
