Kelly Osbourne speaks on grief amid weight-loss scrutiny

Published 1 September 2026

Kelly Osbourne has spoken publicly for the first time about the profound grief and personal struggle she has endured since the death of her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025. In an interview with Hello! magazine, the 41-year-old described the past year as the hardest of her life, revealing she was "so sick" with grief that she could not navigate the intense public scrutiny and body-shaming that followed. Ozzy Osbourne, the Black Sabbath frontman, died of a heart attack at his home in England on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. His daughter said the family chose to keep him at home for several days after his passing, allowing them to mourn privately.
