Kelly Osbourne says she has permanently cut ties with sister Aimee

Published 15 September 2026

Kelly Osbourne has stated she has permanently cut ties with her older sister Aimee, saying there is no possibility of reconciliation. The 41-year-old television personality made the comments during an interview on the "We Need To Talk" podcast, explaining that the sisters are fundamentally different and that she no longer wants people in her life who do not accept her for who she is. "I respect her, I accept her, but we're different, and that's okay," Kelly said. "If you're not going to accept me for who I am, and constantly be trying to change me and say horrible things about me, and truly seem to thrive when I'm not doing well, I don't want you in my life." When asked directly if there was any hope for the relationship, she replied, "No, no." Kelly expressed a long-held resentment over never having a traditional older-sister relationship. "I never got a big sister," she said, adding that she had to learn things on her own that she felt an older sibling might have taught her. "I do have a resentment there. I'll have that forever." She also suggested Aimee was embarrassed by the entire Osbourne family, stating, "My older sister didn't really ever acknowledge me and my brother.
