Kelly Osbourne reveals relapse after father Ozzy's death
Kelly Osbourne has spoken publicly about relapsing into drinking following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025. The 41-year-old television personality shared her experience during an appearance on the "We Need to Talk" podcast, describing a period of profound grief that left her unable to function. "I was a shell of myself. I couldn't speak. I couldn't eat. I couldn't do anything. I was just empty, broken in every way a human could be broken and completely unable to take care of myself," Osbourne said. "I was at ground zero. I started drinking again. I lost my mind. I couldn't handle it." Osbourne, who has previously discussed past struggles with addiction, stated that she is now eight months sober. She explained that she has narrowed her social circle as a result of her grief. "I closed my circle because I lost a lot of friends because people don't like sadness and they expected me to be over it," she said. "I will never be over it. I will never, ever be over it." The Black Sabbath frontman died at age 76 from a heart attack, following years of health complications including Parkinson's disease.
