Kelly Osbourne details severe weight loss after father's death

Kelly Osbourne has spoken publicly about the severe weight loss she experienced following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, admitting she was unaware of how thin she had become until seeing a photograph of herself. The 41-year-old television personality revealed that the image, taken during a dress fitting for an awards ceremony, left her feeling terrified and that she was "so sick" with grief at the time. Osbourne explained that she had "no idea" how much weight she had lost until she saw the photograph. "I looked like the f Crypt Keeper," she said, referencing the skeletal character from the television series Tales from the Crypt. "I said, This is scary. I didn't know I looked like this. My spine you could see every single bone." She described being in "so much pain" that she could not see what others around her were seeing, stating, "I just saw a broken person." Friends and family had raised concerns about her appearance, but Osbourne said she was unable to perceive their perspective due to her overwhelming grief. To conceal her gaunt appearance at public events, she resorted to wearing a wig.
