Keegan Allen Says He Was Robbed in West Hollywood
Actor Keegan Allen said two masked men robbed him of his watch at gunpoint and knifepoint outside a West Hollywood store on October 8. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said deputies responded to a robbery report matching his account and opened an investigation. The department said deputies arrived at about 9:05 p.m. on the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, outside Laurel Supply. According to its account, two men dressed in black approached the victim. One pointed a silver handgun while the other brandished a knife, and they demanded a watch and bracelet. The victim was struck in the face with the handgun, sustaining a forehead laceration, before the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle with the watch. Allen, 37, described the attack in a social-media video and posted surveillance footage that appears to show two men confronting and hitting him. In the video, he said the assailants took his watch. The footage appears to show one man striking Allen with a handgun as the other stands nearby. The supplied accounts do not establish independent authentication of the video.
