Kartik Aaryan's upcoming film "Captain India" is set to begin principal photography in London on September 1, 2026, marking the start of its production phase. The action drama, directed by Shimit Amin, is inspired by a true story of India's evacuation mission from a conflict-ridden country. Filming is scheduled to continue until the end of October 2026, with a theatrical release planned for August 13, 2027, to coincide with India's Independence Day weekend. The project is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Baweja Studios in collaboration with Dopamine Studios and S B Films. The screenplay is co-written by Nash Vazifdar, Sanchit Gupta, and Priyadarshee Shrivastava.
