Kano Governor Urges Northern Aspirants to Wait Until 2031

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has urged northern presidential hopefuls to defer bids for the presidency until 2031, saying the South should complete two consecutive terms before power returns to the North under an informal rotation arrangement. He also called for support for President Bola Tinubu to serve a second term, which Yusuf said would complete the South’s turn.
