Kane's achievement surpassed the previous record held by Cologne striker Dieter Müller, who took 129 matches to score his 100th Bundesliga goal in 1977. The 33-year-old has now scored a goal every 78.5 minutes in the German top flight since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, a rate faster than Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, and Gerd Müller.
