Kalshi Secures Exclusive US Open Prediction Market Partnership
Prediction market platform Kalshi has secured an exclusive partnership with the U.S. Tennis Association to become the official prediction market partner of the US Open, as the tournament's main draw began in New York on August 30, 2026. The agreement, finalized after the qualifying rounds concluded last week, takes effect immediately and grants Kalshi branding rights across the venue and television broadcasts, while prohibiting rival prediction market platforms from advertising during the event. The deal was accelerated from the USTA's original timeline, which had considered waiting until 2027 or later for such a partnership. According to reports, USTA CEO Craig Tiley, who began his tenure on July 20, played a major role in pushing for an agreement covering the 2026 tournament. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed. As of Sunday afternoon, Kalshi had not yet been added to the US Open's official partner list, and a company blog post analyzing the women's singles draw still carried a disclaimer stating it was not affiliated with the tournament.
