Josey Dorsey, the 10-year-old son of the late actress Naya Rivera, is set to make his feature film debut in an upcoming movie titled The Burning Valley. The young actor has been cast in the independent film alongside his father, Ryan Dorsey, marking their first on-screen collaboration. The project, written and directed by Evan Coury, began filming in August in locations around the Pennsylvania Rust Belt, including Brackenridge and Arnold. According to the film's director, The Burning Valley centers on a steelworker who loses his job when his mill announces a shutdown, setting him on a journey through his Rust Belt town. Coury described the project as a small, poetic film about deindustrialization with an emotional truth. "My hope is to encapsulate the history of our region through one guy's personal experience," he said. The movie also represents Coury's directorial debut.
