John Swinney has been elected to serve another term as Scotland’s First Minister after a vote in the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday. The leader of the Scottish National Party, which holds 58 seats in the 129-member parliament, secured the necessary majority, winning 56 of 105 votes cast in the final round of voting.
