Joe Rogan Criticizes Public Support for Lindsay Clancy in Child Murder Trial

Published 3 September 2026

Popular podcaster Joe Rogan sparked widespread debate this week with sharp criticism of the growing public support for Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts mother on trial for the murder of her three young children. Rogan’s comments, made during a Tuesday episode of his show, targeted what he described as a misguided sympathy for Clancy that overlooks the victims. Clancy, a former labor and delivery nurse from Duxbury, faces three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of her children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan, at the family’s home on January 24, 2023. She does not dispute that she killed the children but argues she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible for her actions. Her defense team contends she was in a psychotic state, heavily medicated, and did not understand the wrongfulness of what she was doing. The case has drawn significant public attention, with supporters gathering outside Plymouth Superior Court, many wearing pink in solidarity. Groups have formed online, and fundraisers have been established for Clancy’s family.
