Former England rugby international Joe Marler will become the first celebrity Gladiator when the BBC's revived competition show returns for its fourth season in 2027. The 36-year-old will join the lineup of elite athletes under the moniker "Mauler," making special appearances in the arena filmed in Sheffield.
