Joe Buck Signs $108 Million Extension with ESPN

Joe Buck has agreed to a six-year contract extension with ESPN worth approximately $108 million, securing his role as the play-by-play voice for Monday Night Football through the 2031 season. The deal, reported by multiple sources, makes Buck one of the highest-paid personalities in sports broadcasting, with an annual salary of $18 million, up from his previous $15 million per year. The extension covers ESPN's first two Super Bowl broadcasts in the new rights cycle, including Super Bowl LXI in February 2027 at SoFi Stadium and the subsequent Super Bowl in 2031. Buck, who joined ESPN from Fox in 2022, will call his seventh Super Bowl in February, marking his first with the network. This commitment ensures continuity for ESPN's flagship football coverage. While Buck's future is settled, questions remain about his longtime broadcast partner, Troy Aikman.
