Jaguars Face Scrutiny Over Limited Use of Two-Way Player Travis Hunter

The Jacksonville Jaguars are facing questions about their usage of two-way star Travis Hunter after he played a minimal role on offense in a 20-13 loss to the Denver Broncos. Hunter, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 draft, played just six or seven offensive snaps in the Week 2 defeat, continuing a trend from the season opener where he saw only four offensive snaps. The limited offensive involvement has sparked criticism, including from Hunter's wife, Leanna Lenee, who posted on social media asking, "What's the point of having a two-way player and you're not using him?" On defense, Hunter played 37 snaps, or 60% of the team's defensive plays, recording four tackles and a pass breakup. However, he was also called for a critical 22-yard pass interference penalty in the fourth quarter that set up a Broncos touchdown. Jaguars coach Liam Coen acknowledged the need to integrate Hunter more into the offense. "We got to go look at it and see if we can find some more ways to get him some opportunities," Coen said. He had previously stated on The Rich Eisen Show that the team would "absolutely have a package on offense" for Hunter.
