Jadon Sancho receives offer from Dubai club Arabian Falcons

Published 3 September 2026

Jadon Sancho, the 26-year-old former Manchester United winger, is set to receive an offer from Arabian Falcons, a Dubai-based club competing in the UAE Second Division League. The club, managed by former Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey, is extending an invitation to high-profile free agents like Sancho to maintain their match fitness while searching for their next career move. Sancho became a free agent after Manchester United allowed his contract to expire on June 30, 2026, declining to trigger a one-year extension option. His departure followed a series of loan spells over the past three seasons, including stints at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and most recently Aston Villa. During his time at Villa, he scored one goal and provided three assists in 39 appearances and was part of the squad that won the Europa League. Chelsea had previously paid a £5 million penalty fee to avoid exercising a £25 million obligation to buy him after his loan there. Reports indicate he was also linked with moves to clubs like Fiorentina, Roma, and Palmeiras during the summer, but no deal materialized.
